That’s a wrap on our inaugural Volunteer Expo 2024! An incredible day spent networking and connecting with the GREAT volunteer organisations that make up our community. Community groups of all shapes, sizes, and missions were able to share our space and share their stories with attendees. We loved hearing from our groups throughout the day and hearing all about the connections made at the expo!
The Westport Club team would like to extend a huge thank you to all volunteer organisations and attendees that joined us on the day, we look forward to bringing the expo back again in the future!
“Just wanted to thank you for your invitation to participate in the Volunteers Expo at The Westport Club. During the day, we did attract some interested parties and hopefully we may be able to convert to potential members. If not, we were still able to provide information to others about other groups of interest and other services, once we established “what floated their boat”. It’s about finding the right shaped pegs for the right sized holes for everyone. It was a great day and even a good opportunity for us to connect with other services and interest groups.
