The Westport Club hosted its annual ‘Celebration of Vision’ event on Wednesday 1 August 2018. At the event more than 30 welfare organisations, schools and community support and networking groups were presented with their funding for 2018/19 received as result of The Westport Clubs community grants and sponsorship program.
The Westport Club has been part of the Port Macquarie community since its foundation in 1958 and in 2018 will provide more than $340,000 to the local community through both cash and in-kind support.
In 2017 The Westport Club supported many groups within the community, including but not limited to The Salvation Army, Port Macquarie Basketball Association, Dyslexia Support Mid North Coast, Aspect School, and the Wedding Dress Charity Ball.
