It’s the ultimate Port Macquarie summer cocktail – the ‘Passion Flower’. It’s the colour of summer, with seasonal passionfruit and light spirits, the ultimate way to relax after a long day enjoying the warm weather and blue skies.

How do I make a ‘Passion Flower’?
It’s pretty simple really, but most great cocktail recipes are! With the right ingredients at hand, you’ll be able to whip these up for your guests and yourself in no time at all. Given the heat in the air and how good these drinks look and taste, it’s a good thing they’re easy to make. Passionfruit drink recipes are all the rage at this time of year, and people won’t want to stand around and wait when there’s something this good to drink.
Ingredients
- 60ml of vodka
- 30ml elderflower liqueur
- 30ml sour mix
- 2 tbs passionfruit
- Soda water
- Mint
- Ice
Instructions
- Fill a hurricane cocktail glass to the top with ice
- Add vodka, elderflower liqueur, sour mix and passionfruit
- Fill with soda water
- Mix with a tall spoon
- Garnish with some mint
That’s it, like we said, pretty simple. No need for a Tom Cruise/Bryan Brown double act to put this drink together. It literally is the perfect summer drink; it tastes delicious and can be made in seconds. This is important when you’d rather be spending time with family and friends, than slicing fruit and rattling a cocktail shaker for hours on end.
